Short Biography

Gavin obtained his PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2002 on the subject dual-fueled spark ignition internal combustion engines with direct injection of hydrogen.

He began his career at Bishop Innovation in Australia working on combustion processes for high speed racing engines.  Since 2005, he has been with BorgWarner in various engineering research roles with a focus on how the performance of the fuel injection system impacts both the engine and the vehicle systems.  Currently he is Advanced Simulation, Combustion & System Analysis Manager based on Luxembourg.
