• Doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from Graz University of Technology in 2006
• Extensive experience in the field of numerical simulation of combustion engines; involved in many research projects in this field and published countless scientific articles
• Current research focus on the numerical simulation of combustion processes using renewable fuels, the integration of data-driven approaches into simulation methodology, and the comprehensive analysis and optimization of overall systems.
• Current position: Head of the research area “Simulation-based Development” at LEC
