Short Biography

Dr. Jens Melder joined ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co KG in mid-2023 as an expert in sustainable fuels in the Innovation department. He completed his doctorate at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg in 2019. There, he worked intensively on the development of catalysts for the production of green hydrogen using electrolysis. He then moved to the German Aerospace Center at the Institute of Combustion Technology, where he was responsible for the characterization and evaluation of eFuels and their various production processes.
