Short Biography

Prof. Novella, member of CMT Research Institute in Valencia (Spain), focuses his research on the study of advanced powertrain systems for mobility, combining advanced experimental and modelling activities. His expertise comprises the analysis of advanced combustion concepts for future internal combustion engines, including the use of hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels, and the integration of fuel cell technology in propulsion systems. Prof. Novella has participated in more than 50 projects funded by public institutions or by top industry companies, and the quality of his research is supported by over 130 publications in scientific journals and 50 contributions to international conferences.
