Short Biography

Robert graduated in Mechanical Engineering & Business Economics at Graz University of Technology. He joined AVL in 1997 as a development engineer specializing in thermodynamic analysis and simulation. He later led industry and R&D projects as a project manager. Since 2008, he has driven the implementation of model-based development at AVL, focusing on physics-based real-time engine models. Currently, Robert works as a technical expert for system simulation. Together with his team, he works on system simulation and virtual development processes for applications in the marine, railroad and mining sectors, among others.
