Short Biography

Dr. Markus Schwaderlapp is Senior Vice President Product Development at DEUTZ AG, located in Cologne, Germany. 
In his current role Dr. Schwaderlapp is responsible for Research & Development of Diesel- and Gas Engines, electric and hybrid powertrains and digital solutions. He joined DEUTZ in 2015.
Before DEUTZ he worked 25 years for FEV GmbH, located in Aachen/Germany, in different functions. The last 10 years as Executive Vice President responsible for Engineering worldwide and Sales in Europe and South America.
Dr. Schwaderlapp’s education in Germany included a master’s degree in materials engineering at RWTH Aachen and he received his Phd (Dr. Ing.) in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen.
