Simulation study using DI on a 9-liter 4-cylinder hydrogen engine
As part of one of our current research projects on hydrogen-powered VCMs, we are offering an opportunity to conduct an interesting master’s thesis in the Propulsion Systems Research Group. The goal of the thesis is to conduct simulation-based studies of mixture formation with direct injection (DI), combined with validation tests on the test bench.

• Literature review
• Development of the simulation model in AVL FIRE
• Conducting various simulations and parameter studies
• Validation measurements on the test bench
• Analysis of simulation results and written documentation
